Natural Remedies for Allergies

Instead of jumping to the medicine cabinet when your allergies hit or even when you may not be feeling well as a whole, there are a few try-at-home remedies to make sure and try!

Think about it, what are medications? They’re a combination of herbs and elements found all around us. But our bodies can build a tolerance to these medications over time, so maybe a better solution would be to try and figure out a natural alternative solution to tackle exactly what is going on in your body.

1. Water

Water will help to hydrate and flush out toxins from your system to alleviate allergy symptoms.

2. Honey

Honey has natural nutrients and enzymes the body needs, boosting the immune system to fight infection and allergies.

3. Ginger/Turmeric

Ginger and Turmeric both help to break down toxins that build up throughout your body. They are anti-inflammatories that also help to fight infections.

4. Hot Baths/Showers

Soaking your body in warm water can help to relax. Alternatively, taking in the steam from a hot shower cleanses and clears nasal passages when congested.

Everyone has different symptoms and severities when allergies hit, but the origins of the symptoms tend to be the same resulting from a buildup of toxins which cause inflammation and attack the immune system causing discomfort and congestion, among other symptoms.
